Project
Geografia is an urban planning and economics consultancy working towards helping towns, cities, and governments understand their problems and provide thoughtful solutions with technology, data, and evidence-based outcomes.

Acknowledging that they faced a number of underlining challenges with their existing marketing and communications, Geografia approached Five Creative to help them understand and provide both strategy and solutions to assist in their path forward.
Through the strategy and workshopping phase of the project, the following areas were underlined for redevelopment:

- To better communicate and educate their target audience about all the amazing things that they do, including the extended line of services that they provide.

- To retain existing client engagement from their subscription software through to their services based consultancy.

- To present a more clear, coherent and consistent brand.

Outcome
One of the clear issues from the get-go was the existing website and accompanying communications. Originally developed internally, the website lacked a clear and consistent voice, along with easily accessible information about the company and its services. As well as no call-to-actions, nor easily accessible contact page.

With their target audience in mind — the people behind the development and management of towns, cities, and governments — we gave the overall brand identity a refresh, presenting the business as a sophisticated tech-based company.

Influenced by their own usage and reference  of the word ‘thoughtful’ we incorporated this into a clear, concise and  bold statement to accompany the brand and communications: “The global benchmark for thoughtful economic demographic, and spatial solutions.”

Redeveloping much of the brand’s written communications with a refined tone of voice that is informative, considered and direct, the website was redeveloped to communicate their line of services, champion the amazing solutions and projects they have produced and promote engagement with new clients.

Which has branched off into other areas of their marketing and communications with clear, coherent and consistent brand and messaging.
